About our school

North Columbus Preparatory Academy is a tuition-free public charter school serving students in Kindergarten through 8th grade in the North Linden neighborhood of Columbus, Ohio. Principal Ernest White II leads a school rooted in the community it serves, where partnerships with neighborhood organizations shape a student experience that extends beyond the classroom walls.

The academic program is standards-based and individualized. Teachers use assessment data to tailor instruction, ensuring each student receives the support or challenge appropriate for his or her level.

The school partners with We Are Linden, a neighborhood revitalization initiative, to connect students and families with community resources, events, and programming that strengthen the North Linden neighborhood. Girl Scouts programming is available for students, building leadership, teamwork, and service skills.

Counseling and behavioral health support are available on-site.

Every enrolled student receives free breakfast and lunch.

North Columbus Preparatory Academy is located at 1965 Gladstone Ave, Columbus, OH 43211. Call (614) 745-8375 or visit northcolumbusprep.org.
